Information about how to join Phi Alpha Theta and the History Club

 

 

Are you intrested in History? Would you like to join the Phi Alpha Theta Chapter or History Club in Montclair State University? To join Phi Alpha Theta undergraduate students must complete at least 12 semester hours in History (4 courses) with a GPA of at least 3.1 in History, have a GPA of 3.0 or better overall, and be in the top 35% of the class. Membership is not limited to History majors. Graduate students should have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours towards their Master's Degree in History, have a GPA of better than 3.5, and shall have completed approximately 30% of the residence requirements for the Master's Degree. Applications are available online here or you can get one from Sue Goscinski, the History Deptment Secretary, in Dickson Hall room 421. If you do not fulfill these requirments, but love history you can join the History Club. Please return completed applications to Dr. Landweber in Dickson Hall room 433 or Dr. Carnevale in Dickson Hall room 418. Feel free to contact them for any information.
